Job Overview: We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Salsa/Guacamole Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining our salsa and guacamole products. If you have a flair for fresh ingredients and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for you!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Preparation: Prepare salsa and guacamole daily, ensuring recipes are followed precisely and products meet quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure fresh and adequate product availability.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, provide product information, and assist with any special requests or inquiries related to salsa and guacamole.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to food safety regulations, and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients.
  • Sales Support: Assist in merchandising, including setting up displays, promoting specials, and keeping shelves well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other associates to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, and support team members as needed.

Requirements


  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining focus and precision
  • Capability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
  • Skilled in both gross and fine manipulation
  • Peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy
  • Effectively hear and respond to instructions in a bustling environment
  • Manual dexterity for intricate culinary work
  • Use of step-stools and ladders as needed
  • Reaching above, at, and below waist level
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move fluidly around
  • Comfortable working in diverse temperatures (hot, humid, cold) and tolerating moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents
  • Able to handle a wide variety of fresh ingredients without adverse allergic reactions
  • Maintain stability and balance while executing tasks efficiently
  • Convey instructions clearly and communicate with team members effectively, even in busy or noisy environments

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in food preparation or a related role is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for positive customer and team interactions.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
