Our laboratory works with pharmaceutical companies, compounding and hospital pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and raw material suppliers bringing excellence to pharmaceutical sciences and making pharmaceuticals safer.
The Analytical Laboratory Associate Supervisor works with the Analytical Supervisor to plan, manage and supervise the Analytical Laboratory to assure all test results are delivered in an accurate, timely and profitable fashion using proper safety precautions. Chromatography experience (IC, GC, LCMSMS) is a crucial component for success in this role, as is a deep background in cGMP.

This is a full-time role
Work Schedule: Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, Hours TBD.
Work Restrictions: Because of vital nature of this work, we do not allow medical marijuana cards and we do random drug testing on all of our employees.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position supervises a portion of the technical staff of the Analytical Laboratory.
Essential Functions...
  • Ensure all data and test results performed are reviewed for completeness, correctness and compliance with SOP's
  • Provide technical direction to internal and external customers
  • Ensure all safety programs are executed and enforced
  • May reviews reports of the CAPA system for adequacy and completeness prior to submitting them for final approval
  • Ensure their Analytical Laboratory reports are properly trained to conduct their activities
  • Perform managerial duties including scheduling, prioritization, hiring, training, timecard review, performance evaluation and disciplinary action
  • Recommend changes in policies and procedures to management that will enhance the company's ability to meet directives and regulations
  • Notifies and recommends to management course of action when critical instruments, systems or processes are found to be out of specification
  • Ability to wear, maintain, and properly use appropriate safety equipment, including, but not limited to eye protection, gloves, and lab coat
  • Adherence to all ARL Bio Pharma safety standards, policies, procedures, and protocols

Position Requirements...
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemistry or related field
  • At least 4 years of industrial or academic experience in an applicable field
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry is preferred
  • 4-6 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred

This position often requires standing for prolong periods of time; dexterity in fingers and hands to perform complex and precise manipulations; ability to walk and stood; ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs; see in the normal visual range including the ability to distinguish colors and shades and hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
