About the Role

The Associate Physician is a key member of the clinical team, delivering compassionate, patient-centered fertility care while supporting the growth and success of the clinic. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of physicians and staff to help individuals and families on their journey to parenthood. The Associate Physician will engage in a variety of clinical, procedural, and consultative responsibilities, contributing to the clinic’s mission and high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultations and assessments for patients undergoing fertility treatments, including medical history reviews and treatment planning.
  • Perform fertility-related procedures, including but not limited to ultrasounds, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and hysteroscopies.
  • Provide detailed patient education on treatment options, protocols, and medications while addressing patient concerns with empathy and expertise.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, embryologists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with medical and legal requirements.
  • Stay current with advancements in reproductive medicine, applying evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the clinic’s quality improvement initiatives and uphold compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in marketing or outreach events, as needed, to promote the clinic and its services.
  • Support clinical research initiatives, if applicable.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Education & Licensure:
    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
    • Completion of a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) fellowship is required.
    • Valid medical license in the state of practice or ability to obtain one
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust and build relationships with patients and team members.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.
