Job description

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing Manager and the local activities for the marketing and leasing groups. This can be either a full-time or part-time internship and has flexibility on start/end dates.

WHO IS MAC PROPERTIES:

Mac Properties buys, builds, redevelops and manages apartment buildings.  We have a diverse apartment mix in St. Louis ranging from $800 to $4,000 per month.   Many of our buildings are located near WashU campus or in the Central West End.   Watch us on YouTube, Check out our website, visit us on Facebook  and read about us in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordination of property management events for both future and current residents
  • Curate social media postings via multiple platforms
  • Creating marketing packets, digital flyers, and gift baskets
  • Community outreach to local business managers and owners
  • Content research, article & blog writing, and newsletter creation
  • General marketing correspondence
  • Assist in welcoming new residents
  • Availability to work some nights and weekends for resident events, open houses, and other functions is required
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be currently working on Bachelor’s degree or have two (2) + years of related training or experience. Marketing/sales experience a plus but not necessary.
  • Computer skills required include: e-mail, (MS Outlook) MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Written and verbal communication skills are a must - add a cover letter to your resume to showcase those writing skills!
  • Ability to work with supervision but able to make decisions on your own - we'll guide you and give you the end goal but allow you flexibility and creativity to create your own road map that fits within deadlines and guidelines.
  • Photo editing, videography, and photography is not required, but a plus.
