Associate Pattern Recognition information

What is an associate pattern recognition?

Associate Pattern Recognition professionals are entry-level specialists who support the development and implementation of algorithms and systems that identify patterns in data. They typically assist senior analysts or engineers in analyzing datasets, using tools such as machine learning or statistical software to recognize trends, anomalies, or recurring patterns. Their work is applied in a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing, to improve decision-making and automate processes. They often collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine models and enhance the accuracy of pattern recognition systems.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an associate pattern recognition?

To thrive as an Associate Pattern Recognition Specialist, you need a solid background in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience using machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or scikit-learn, is typically required. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for interpreting complex data and collaborating with team members. These skills and qualifications are essential for accurately identifying meaningful patterns in data, driving actionable insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making in various industries.

What are some typical projects an associate pattern recognition might work on, and how do they collaborate with other team members?

As an Associate Pattern Recognition professional, you may work on projects such as developing algorithms to identify trends in large datasets, improving image or speech recognition systems, or supporting data-driven decision-making in areas like healthcare or finance. You will often collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to understand project goals, refine models, and implement solutions. Regular team meetings and code reviews are common, providing opportunities to learn from senior colleagues and contribute your insights.

What jobs are good with associate pattern recognition?

An associate pattern recognition skill is valuable in roles such as data analyst, computer vision technician, machine learning assistant, and quality control inspector. These jobs often involve analyzing visual or data patterns, using tools like MATLAB or Python, and may require knowledge of algorithms and image processing.

Senior Manager / Associate Director - Data Governance

Tiger Analytics Inc.

Phoenix, AZ โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 5 days ago

Job description

Tiger Analytics is an advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for several Fortune 100 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI. Our business value and leadership have been recognized by various market research firms, including Forrester and Gartner.

We are looking for a Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead delivery workstreams within a large-scale enterprise Data Governance, Architecture & Controls Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead pods focused on data lineage documentation (consumption through ADS to system of origin), target-state ADS landscape and architecture design, and aggregation layer controls including DQ rules, variance analysis, and anomaly detection.
  • Shape the data modeling and architecture decisions that underpin the target-state ADS landscape, working with enterprise architecture to evolve domain and subdomain taxonomy.
  • Conduct SME interviews across engineering and business data offices, translate enterprise data management policy into actionable delivery and build plans, and manage a small team of analysts through design and implementation.
  • Operate as the bridge between engineering, enterprise architecture, and data office stakeholders, and present findings and recommendations directly to senior client leadership.
  • Define and standardize repeatable playbooks, templates, and execution frameworks for data lineage harvesting and Authoritative Data Source (ADS) onboarding to ensure consistency across multiple pods.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Tooling teams to evaluate, select, and drive the adoption of data governance and lineage platforms.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics reflecting the progress of lineage coverage, ADS compliance, and data quality improvement to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

    • 8+ years in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Architecture, ideally in financial services.
    • Strong grounding in data modeling and data architecture — conceptual/logical modeling, domain-driven design, and Analytical Data Store (ADS) patterns.
    • Hands-on experience with data lineage (fine- and coarse-grained), data quality frameworks, and the design and implementation of data controls.
    • Ability to interpret and operationalize enterprise data management policy.
    • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred) sufficient to plan, scope, and oversee build and deployment work.
    • Strong executive presence — comfortable leading SME interviews and presenting to VP+ stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to work across engineering, architecture, and business teams as a connector and translator.

Benefits

Significant career development opportunities exist as the company grows. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small, fast-growing, challenging and entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of individual responsibility.

Tiger Analytics provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, marital status, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other basis as protected by federal, state, or local law.
