Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to support the development and deployment of strategic, humanized experiences (physical & digital) for our Payments business within 1st and 3rd party moments, helping to deepen the relevance and resonance of J.P. Morgan through awareness and consideration for our payments products and solutions. 

As a Senior Associate of Partnerships & Activations within Payments Marketing, you will be working across cross-functional teams and agency partners, you will provide project management support for the development and execution of global experiential efforts. You will effectively balance multiple projects and prioritize against tight deadlines, lead stakeholders at varying levels across multiple lines of business within the firm, and support the strategy, creative and execution of these programs based on a broad understanding of modern marketing mixes. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive physical and digital experiences with internal teams and external partners, laddering into integrated 360 campaigns (content, activations, digital, social, PR, etc.)

  • Support the strategic and creative development for the Experience & Activation team from objective-setting through to activation planning. 

  • Draft strategic documents (e.g. creative briefs, partner intake forms, co-marketing proposals) to support marketing priorities, brand initiatives and product roadmaps.

  • Partner with internal teams / stakeholders to collaborate, gain approvals and execute with excellence against our goals -including campaign managers, channel owners, product marketers, regional leads, sales & product, etc.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams/stakeholders and external partners/agencies to facilitate the activation of partnerships, proprietary tentpoles and industry events across all earned, owned, paid, and partner channels
  • Monitor specific project details, and creates standard or ad hoc reports and tracking processes

  • Track and manage budgets and key performance metrics 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3 + years of relevant marketing experience across physical and digital experiences

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail combined with proven project management ability

  • Demonstrated experience driving end-to-end projects with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple concurrent initiatives 
  • Experience across a wide range of marketing channels and activations

  • A critical thinker with the ability to understand, dissect, and analyze information; identify pragmatic solutions to challenges and is capable of challenging the norm and making recommendations

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to generate support from a wide-range of stakeholders and create a strong network of relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Strong understanding of internal, industry, and competitor trends to spark fresh ideas and drive cutting edge concept development in a changing marketplace

  • Ability to facilitate effective meetings with subject matter experts and leadership

  • Very confident leveraging AI to achieve more efficiency in the strategy and concepting phases 

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related degree
