Extrusion Operator- Fulltime
Location: Fernley, NV
  • Full-Time 7am – 7pm (2-2-3 Schedule)​
  • Full-Time 7pm – 7am (2-2-3 Schedule)
  • Day Shift $20.00/hour
  • Night Shift $22.00/hour

We’re looking for an Extrusion Operator to join our high-performing team. The Extrusion Operator will be responsible for performing product checks, stacking and packing product in the appropriate receptacles.
What You’ll Do:
  • Perform all required duties in a safe manner by following all company policies amp; procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE for each respective task.
  • Must be able to properly identify carts.
  • Must be able to properly label packages/carts.
  • Must be able to read part prints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Must accurately and neatly complete all required documentation associated with extrusion level, such as but not limited to P Side, Router, any supplemental documentation to aid data input into MES.
  • Must be able to properly and accurately enter data in the MES system.
  • Must maintain the quality standard set forth by DNA.
  • Must be able to understand the MAC system operation.
  • Monitor and document all assigned lines.
  • Prepare all quality samples as required on the Profile Part Drawing. (cosmetics, dimensional criteria, length, weight, all gauges).
  • Legibly document process conditions at the required intervals: 8 o’clock, 12 o’clock and 4 o’clock, timeframes subject to change and should be current standard should be adhered to.
  • Complete the Line Inspection Sheets at the start amp; end of the shift.
  • Communicate vital extrusion process information to the on-coming operator who will assume responsibility of your assigned line at the end of your shift.
  • Maintain continuous cleaning and inspection of assigned lines and areas.
  • Relieve other associates as assigned for lunches and breaks.
  • Perform autonomous preventative maintenance and report problems.
  • Assure that assigned areas have NO water or oil on the floor.
  • Employee must be able to run up to 3 lines.
  • Assist other associates as needed.
