Job description

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Hires and trains front-line employees.
  • Organizes, directs, and oversees the schedules and work of front-line employees.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.  
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 

 Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the continued transformation of operations to a world class lean manufacturing culture.
  • Creation and implementation of the Adams Production System using various modern tools as appropriate in order to support continuous improvement in areas such as safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and scrap.
  • Sustains and administers continuous improvement activities that will drive lean methodologies
  • Experienced strategic planner with qualitative and quantifiable results
  • A visionary leader that exemplifies company values and ensures company strategic goals are understood and met by all team members. Motivates and empowers the team.
  • Develops staff and organization with vision to support future company goals and objectives

Physical Requirements: 
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the plant.   
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. 
  • Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
