Spring Glen Fresh Foods in Ephrata, PA is hiring a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support daily warehouse activities to ensure accurate inventory control. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator supports daily warehouse activities to ensure accurate inventory control, efficient shipping and receiving, and compliance with company, regulatory, and food safety requirements. This role serves as a key link between warehouse staff, customer service, carriers, and management, helping to maintain smooth operations while promoting safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service.

The duties listed below are representative of the types of responsibilities required for the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the organization:

  • Coordinates warehouse activities across shipping, receiving, and inventory functions to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and service levels.
  • Serves as a point of contact between warehouse personnel, customer service, and carriers to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
  • Assists with maintaining the computerized inventory control system, including data entry, transaction accuracy, order picking, shipping documentation, and recordkeeping.
  • Leads physical inventories (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Monitors and maintains raw material and packaging inventories, including shelf life tracking, transaction discrepancies, and minimum/maximum levels.
  • Coordinates receiving of materials and finished goods, ensuring logs and records are up to date.
  • Coordinates and confirms delivery and receiving appointments; checks in carriers and customers as needed.
  • Reviews and corrects bills of lading (BOLs) to ensure shipping accuracy.
  • Assists with cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and adoption of new warehouse techniques or practices.
  • Supports employee onboarding and safety orientation; helps reinforce safe work practices and reports unsafe conditions to management.
  • Participates in investigations of workplace incidents, ensuring hazards or concerns are promptly communicated and addressed.
  • Ensures compliance with all plant, regulatory, and corporate requirements, including GMPs, HACCP, food safety, product quality, and security standards.
  • Operates forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company standards.
  • Reports complaints, operational issues, or policy infractions to management.
