Job description

Position Title:

Efile Operations Analyst

Reports To:

Director of Software Development

Location:

Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid)
- Training: Approximately 2 weeks on-site
- Post-training schedule:
- On-site: Tuesday & Wednesday
- Remote: Monday, Thursday & Friday

Position Summary

The Efile Operations Analyst ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of electronic filing (efile) operations across internal systems and external vendor platforms. This role involves evaluating stakeholder data requests, composing and tuning operational queries, monitoring system health, and collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to resolve issues and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and clarify stakeholder data requests
  • Propose database queries, jobs, distribution methods, and data visualizations
  • Compose, tune, run, and schedule queries to monitor efile statuses, bank enrollments, taxpayer bank applications, and related systems
  • Proactively identify delays or errors in internal and external vendor systems
  • Communicate with banks, IRS, and state tax agencies to request data and resolve outstanding issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to test and validate operational reporting changes
  • Recommend system enhancements to reduce monitoring overhead and exceptions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL Server query syntax
  • Superior communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong documentation skills to convert tribal knowledge into clear, actionable processes

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally
  • Ability to complete approximately 2 weeks of on-site training in Kennesaw, GA
  • Commitment to hybrid work schedule post-training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in operational monitoring within financial or tax-related systems
  • Familiarity with support of SaaS operational environments
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (PowerShell, DAX, PowerQuery/M, R, .Net, Python, etc)

$57,100.00 - $97,500.00 USD

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
