Job Summary:
  • The Quality Assurance Analyst performs quality control and/or technical support for all functional departments to ensure client standards are maintained.

  • This position requires the candidate to work a 5 day-a-week schedule in the Champaign office.
  • Relocation Offered: None

  • Travel: 10% or less domestic travel expected with this role.

What You Will Do:
  • Working with customers and suppliers to review quality cases and disposition of material

  • Analyzing incoming customer quality concerns
  • Working Quality Cases assigned from Quality customer service
  • Collecting non-conformance data and maintaining and updating quality system documents
  • Preparing Quality Return POs for returned goods from customers.
  • Containment of non-conforming material including validating and verifying on-hand material using standard calibrated gauges

  • Identifying potential non-conforming material which has been shipped
  • Issuing and managing proactive alerts to customers
  • Interacting with Operations on operational cause defects
  • Reviewing design prints and 1E specifications

  • Issuing rejections and corrective action requests to suppliers while communicating updates as needed.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Level Basic Understanding.

  • Quality Management System (QMS): Knowledge of Quality Management System's (QMS) functions, features, and capabilities; ability to design, implement, test, and maintain Quality Management Systems to consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory compliances. Level Basic Understanding.

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences. Summary Pay Range:
$28.70 - $43.10
