Quality Assurance Analyst in Champaign, IL.

Job Summary:
- The Quality Assurance Analyst performs quality control and/or technical support for all functional departments to ensure client standards are maintained.

- This position requires the candidate to work a 5 day-a-week schedule in the Champaign office.

What You Will Do:
- Working with customers and suppliers to review quality cases and disposition of material
- Analyzing incoming customer quality concerns
- Working Quality Cases assigned from Quality customer service
- Collecting non-conformance data and maintaining and updating quality system documents
- Preparing Quality Return POs for returned goods from customers.
- Containment of non-conforming material including validating and verifying on-hand material using standard calibrated gauges
- Identifying potential non-conforming material which has been shipped
- Issuing and managing proactive alerts to customers
- Interacting with Operations on operational cause defects
- Reviewing design prints and 1E specifications
- Issuing rejections and corrective action requests to suppliers while communicating updates as needed.
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Level Basic Understanding.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change. Level Basic Understanding.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Level Working Knowledge.
- Quality Management System (QMS): Knowledge of Quality Management System's (QMS) functions, features, and capabilities; ability to design, implement, test, and maintain Quality Management Systems to consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory compliances. Level Basic Understanding.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences. Level Basic Understanding
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. Level Working Knowledge.
- Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance. Level Basic Understanding

Summary Pay Range:
$28.70 - $43.10
