Description
    Working as part of a team responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network/system devices and other associated components
  • Designing, evaluating, recommending, implementing, and documenting network architecture
  • Ensuring design, installation, and configuration is compliant with all Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidelines
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment, including firewalls and switches
  • Ensuring network is functionally capable of fulfilling all system requirements as identified by the customer
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network problems
  • Maintaining complete technical documentation
  • Serving as the subject matter expert regarding these responsibilities
  • Monitoring Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), tracking corrective actions until all actions are closed
  • Supporting business development efforts

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related/similar discipline and 2-4 years of work related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer and computer software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Production and basic engineering tasks supporting multi-disciplinary teams on control system testing, equipment commissioning, and field testing
Desired Skills
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
