The Membership Sales Representative is a vital team member, focusing on membership sales which includes local prospecting outside of the club, setting up tours, attending local events, scheduling fitness consultations, and customer service. It is important that this person be team-oriented with great communication skills and friendly personality. This employee will drive sales and ensure the member experience is top notch.
Compensation and Perks:
  • $18.00 - $20.00 per hour dependent on experience

Requirements:
• 20-30 hours per week with flexible availability is required, including some partial Saturdays.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and personality.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Effective ability to communicate with members, guests, coworkers and managers.
• Prior inside and/or outside sales experience required.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Customer service oriented.
• Setting up Prospect Tours.
• Scheduling fitness consultations.
• Local event coordination and attendance.
• Local prospecting (corporate accounts, multi-unit residential building accounts, small businesses).
• Competitor shopping and analysis.
• Punctual, responsible, reliable and pays attention to detail.
• Handling cash and other transactions at Point of Sale.
• Willingness to learn and work in a goal-oriented and structured environment.
Environment:
• Working environment is inside Retro Fitness of Fort Lee, NJ. Working hours could vary and include mornings, evenings, and some Saturdays for a few hours.
