Job description

MBSE & Digital Threads Engineer

The Opportunity:

You are a forward-thinking digital engineer, passionate about solving complex problems through a systematic approach, strong technical skills, and data-centric analysis to answer critical questions. You excel at working independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders. You have experience implementing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and developing digital threads to support full lifecycle engineering and product development. You apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to provide highly innovative solutions.You are resourceful,leveragingscript-based and low or no-code automation tools to streamline and enhance workflows across engineering functions.

In this role, you will contribute to operationalizing generative AI for Systems Engineering,integrating human-in-the-loop processes and quality guardrails to ensure reliable outcomes.

You Have:

  • Experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for government systems or mission critical systems

  • Experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo orMagicDraw,SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody

  • Knowledge of script-based andlow-code or no-code automation

  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of program milestone reviews

  • Ability to communicate effectively andestablishcollaborative relationships with government clients and associate contractor stakeholders or teammates to achieve program goals

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS,Azure,or GCP

  • ExperienceutilizingDevSecOpstools such as GitHub Actions to build and manage CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with RAG technologies and LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, LLM model registries such as Hugging Face, and embedding models and vector databases

  • Experience with full-stack development, including RESTFulAPIs, Node.js, JavaScript, orReact

  • Experience withsoftware product testing and QA or QC

  • Experience with programming automation, including Python or Java

  • Experience with MATLAB, STK,ModelCenter, orTeamCenter

  • Experience withU.S. governmentspacesystems such as NASA or DoD

  • Master's degree in Engineering

  • Industry Certificationssuch as OCSMP or ASEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
