Job description

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Job description:

We are looking for a full-time medical assistant. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

We can also offer Part-Time 1-6pm, Mon-Fri for 3 months then start full-time in January 2026

Responsibilities

  • Interview patients and document basic medical history and medication list
  • Update medical records and HEDIS measures
  • Take vitals and perform EKGs or Holters
  • Assist during medical examinations
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
  • Call patient to give results
  • Occasionally take calls for sick patients and when refills are needed
  • Occasionally fill out forms for medication prior authorization and diabetic supplies

Skills

  • Fluent in English and Spanish required
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
