We have an Excellent Contract position for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Company located in Chelmsford, MAย 

**US Citizenship is required.**
ย **Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**

Seeking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the design, developmentย andย manufacture of complex microwave electronics subsystems at our campus in Andover, Massachusetts.ย We incorporateย the use ofย modern design toolsย inย the relevant design disciplines of RF/microwave, analog/digital, and mechanical/thermal engineering.ย Alsoย on premisesย are state-of-the-art electronics manufacturingย facilities,ย and ESS test capabilities.ย This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with our top industry-leadingย multi-disciplinedย professionals.

Job Responsibilities: ย 
  • Involves complex technical problems that requireย solutionsย which areย highly innovative and ingenious.ย The assignment includes the design, analysis, research, development, and testing encompassing multiple engineering disciplines, as well as the planning and advancement of new aerospace products and technologies.
  • Performย electronicsย packagingย designs, testingย andย verification of microwaveย electronicsย components andย sub-systems.

Basic Hiring Criteria:ย 
  • Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience or more
  • Experience in electronic packaging for military applications.
  • Experience with design and documentation of Circuit Card Assemblies, Printed Circuit Boardsย andย Cabling.
  • Experience with CREO and Windchill.
  • Knowledgeable of GD&T.
  • Familiar with Change Board processes and documentation control.
  • Experience in manufacturing, troubleshootingย andย root cause analysis of electronic assemblies is also desirable.
  • Interim Security Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:ย 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with electronics packaging for microwave electronics.
  • Experience with CREO, Windchill, Zuken.
  • Hands-on experience with building and testing electronic assemblies.
  • Knowledge of GD&T is preferred.
  • Knowledge of materials and processes used in electronics is preferred.
