WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR


The Manufacturing Supervisor will be a working supervisor responsible for the assembly and testing of hydrogen cryo-pump and Hydrogen Refueling Station modules. Currently, this position will lead one employee initially and will be hands-on assembling units while our new manufacturing line ramps up


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the assembly of electro-mechanical, electro-pneumatical systems or equivalent experience in a medical device, aerospace, automotive, or other technical manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical abilities with a willingness to work hands on
  • Strong leadership skills - prior leadership experience highly preferred
  • Able to interpret and understand engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions and other company procedures
  • Ability to use basic computer applications including, but not limited to:
  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • ERP systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills; maintains orderly work cells; contributes to the professional presentation of the production area
  • Must be able to type using the keyboard of a computer
  • Must be able to understand and communicate clearly
  • Able to interpret and understand engineering d
  • Must be able to use various hand tools and manufacturing equipment including, but not limited to: torque wrenches, impact guns, tube bender, angle grinders, coning and threading machine, etc.
Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Ensure ERP transitions completed correctly, and traceability is maintained at all times
  • Delegate tasks to direct reports
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure commitments are met
  • Performs moderately complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, a variety of hand tools, test equipment and assembly fixtures
  • Produces and inspects assemblies to ensure conformance to product specifications
  • Ensures complete documentation of all assembly and test processes performed
  • Ability to fully adhere to established Quality System and full understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Training team members
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all established company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED, Associates degree preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • The Manufacturing Supervisor usually works in a manufacturing environment
  • The Manufacturing Supervisor works a standard work week but may be required to work some weekends and evenings to fulfill the duties
  • This position may require some travel (primarily in California)


PHYSICSAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to type using the keyboard of a computer
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs


SCHEDULE + BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this full-time position is $91,520 - $121,160 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work locations and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the salary base only and do not include any bonus or benefits.
