 About the Role 

Otto Aerospace is seekingan Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support the fuselage cockpit assembly Flight Test Vehicle (FTV) buildsof the Phantom 3500. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will also help the team prepare forlow-rateinitialproduction (LRIP) and full rate production (FRP) at theFinal Assembly Integration and Test (FAIT) Facility,in Jacksonville, Florida. 

The Associate Manufacturing Engineer role will contribute to the successful completion of major projects that support strategic priorities and technicalobjectivesfor the Phantom 3500 fuselage cockpit assembly. Working under general direction, the individualpossesses basic knowledge in manufacturing engineeringand assemblytechnical areas andcanlearn to develop imaginative manufacturingprocessesor tooling designs. The individualwillsupportManufacturing Engineering technical POCs on projects,programsand/or cross functional teams. 

 What You'll Do 

• Complete 3DX training and learn how to create an MBOM, BOP, and create work instructions 
• Complete composite bonder training and fabricate composite parts to support manufacturing trials 
• Assist in developing and executing plans for manufacturing trials 
• Learn and execute design for manufacturability (DFM), producibility analysis, and manufacturing trade studies todeterminecost effective solutions to complex manufacturing technicalobjectivesusing a variety of data and analysis techniques 
• Identify,reportand resolve potential safety and quality hazards/risks 
• Work through a disciplinedapproach ininitiating, planning, executing,controllingand closing tasks and projects to achieve specific goalsaligned to program/IPTsuccess criteria 
• Work and deliverablesarereviewed and checked through team leadershipandfunctional management to adequately meetobjectives 

 Who You Are 

 Education 

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineeringor Engineering Technologies 

Experience 

• 0-2yearsin aerospace or related manufacturing industry experience  
• Proficiencyin MS Office tools of Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Teams,Visioand Outlook 
• Some experience with 3D modeling-CATIA3DX orV5/V6, andDelmiapreferred 
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, test plans, and technical procedures 
• Strong mechanical aptitude- preferably with high level knowledge or understanding of composite manufacturing and assembly processes 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset 
• Continuous learning mindset

 Where You'll Be 

 This role is hybrid on-site at our facility at Meacham Airport in Ft Worth, TX until mid/late 2026, at which time it will transition to full onsite in Jacksonville, FL.
