About The Opportunity
Plan, identify, oversee the layout of equipment, and implement processes aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the plant operations. Conduct studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization.
1. Support the development and implementation of process technology in the plant to minimize variation and optimize the manufacturing of products, workflow, cell design, & plant layout while reducing costs and removing bottlenecks.
2. Optimize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, cell design, plant layout, workflow, assembly methods and work force utilization and removing bottlenecks.
3. Support the technical teams in finding root cause analysis for equipment downtime.
4. Provide technical skill, knowledge and judgment as it relates to the quality of product being produced.
5. Provide technical input and support in the advancement of equipment and tools.
6. Support manufacturing regarding quality and cost.
7. Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.
8. Conduct time studies to optimize production capabilities.
9. Support plant capital improvement projects.
10. Support mold move process as a technical resource for internal plants and contract molders.
11. Other duties as assigned.
