Contract Details :

  • Job Title : Superintendent
  • Type of contract : Long-term At-will
  • Expected Hiring Date : August 2026
  • Scope : Huron

Responsibilities :

  • Product Line (P&L, Manufacturing, Machine PM, Minor Maintenance, Quality, Scrap Safety, and training of associates)
  • Direct activities that result in cost savings for the facility
  • Gather, analyze and maintain data, including reporting of trends and improvements
  • Manage and coach the manufacturing associates to ensure optimal safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Develop and maintain both a safe facility environment and a workforce capable of meeting manufacturing requirements in accordance with production & delivery schedules.
  •  Manage the off-shift supervisors (assist and support as needed). Act as off-shift point of contact for Plant Management team.
  • Responsible for ensuring all authorized Lockout/Tagout Employees have received the appropriate level of training and that these employees are provided with the proper equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) to perform the job safely and that they are adhering to LOTO procedures
  •  Manage continuous improvement through planned events
  • Continuous Improvement actions are developed, supported, and completed
  •  Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
  • Corrective and preventative actions within the Plant Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
  • Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 33lbs on a regular basis
  • Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
  • Ready to perform in a fast paced, results oriented environment with tight time constraints

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Industrial, Business Management or Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  •  Thorough knowledge preferred of the assigned Product Line (Fuel Systems) including operations, procedures, products, terminology, quality standards, and equipment
  • Must have workable knowledge of budgets, inventory, costing, scheduling and customer interface
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for sponsorship or transfer of Visa now or at any time in the future Job Technical skills:
