What is an associate managing editor?

An Associate Managing Editor is a professional who assists the Managing Editor in overseeing the editorial process for publications such as newspapers, magazines, or online platforms. Their responsibilities often include managing editorial schedules, coordinating with writers and editors, ensuring content quality, and helping to maintain deadlines. They may also review articles for accuracy and style, manage workflow, and contribute to developing editorial policies. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and editing skills.
