Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address their mental health needs.
• Create and manage personalized treatment programs designed to help clients cope with mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop client-centered treatment plans that reflect individual goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our cloud-based EHR system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Offer ongoing support and guidance, adapting your approach based on feedback and individual client progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to keep abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to complex trauma. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating empowerment counseling services that aim to help clients navigate and overcome their difficulties, ultimately leading to improved client outcomes and stability.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• A minimum of three years of relevant mental health counseling experience is mandatory.
• Technological proficiency, including a reliable laptop or desktop, high-speed internet connection, and a web camera, to conduct telehealth sessions.
• Strong ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and motivation in a remote setting.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
• Flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend sessions as needed to support client scheduling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy and remote counseling practices.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches.
• Understanding of the specific needs of diverse populations, including cultural competence.

Compensation and Benefits
