Physical Therapist (PT, RPT) Opportunity in Jacksonville

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT, RPT) to join our team in providing exceptional school-based therapy services in Jacksonville. This role involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students in achieving their physical and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs within the educational environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with educators and other team members to integrate physical therapy strategies into students' daily activities and curriculum.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate and train school staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Alabama.
  • Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
