The Commercial Legal team delivers strategic legal advice, negotiates, drafts, and reviews commercial agreements, and supports policy development across a broad range of business functions, including Sourcing, Product Innovation, Sustainability, Global Fulfillment, Retail Operations, Strategic Sales, Corporate Development, Procurement, Finance, and Real Estate.

core responsibilities: The Associate Legal Counsel II provides legal support across the Commercial Legal team's portfolio. This role partners closely with Legal Counsel(s) and Director, Legal to support contracting, legal research, and operational initiatives. Drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial agreements, both independently and in support of Legal Counsel(s), and manages contract lifecycle activities including amendments, renewals, terminations, and record management.

Conducts legal research and analyzes laws, regulations, and industry developments relevant to the business. Assists in the development and maintenance of contract templates, guidance documents, and legal resources. Provides practical, risk-based legal guidance on routine business questions, escalating novel, complex, or higher-risk issues as appropriate.

Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate timely legal support and contract execution. Contributes to projects and process improvements that promote efficiency, consistency, and risk management. Demonstrates sound judgment, curiosity, and learning agility, including the ability to identify when to escalate issues, ask thoughtful questions, and adapt to new subject areas.

qualifications J.D. or LLB from a recognized university and current member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia or another Canadian jurisdiction. 2-4 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, ideally with exposure to commercial contracts, business clients, or in-house legal work

Experience drafting, reviewing, and supporting negotiation of commercial agreements. Strong attention to detail, legal judgment, organization, and follow-through. Able to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and identify when to escalate issues.

Clear and practical communicator who can build trust with business partners and legal colleagues. Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new areas of law and business. must haves: Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.

compensation and benefits package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$111,200 - $146,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
