Transactional Healthcare Associate AttorneyAmLaw 200 Opportunity

A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Transactional Healthcare Associate Attorney to join its growing Wilmington office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing healthcare providers, physician groups, management services organizations (MSOs), dental service organizations (DSOs), hospitals, healthcare investors, and private equity sponsors in sophisticated healthcare transactions.

The Role

Healthcare mergers & acquisitions transactions
Private equity investments in healthcare organizations
Physician practice and healthcare platform transactions
Management services organization (MSO) and dental services organization (DSO) transactions
Healthcare joint ventures and strategic affiliations
Healthcare regulatory and transactional counseling
Corporate governance and organizational matters
Drafting and negotiating transactional agreements
Direct client interaction and substantive transactional responsibility
• Collaboration with a sophisticated national healthcare and corporate team

Ideal Background

• Approximately 3–6 years of healthcare transactional experience
• Experience with healthcare M&A, physician practice transactions, healthcare private equity transactions, or healthcare regulatory matters strongly preferred
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, management agreements, operating agreements, and related transactional documents preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory issues, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine, and healthcare compliance matters, is a plus
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong business judgment and client-service orientation
• Excellent academic credentials
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
Delaware bar admission preferred or ability to become admitted in Delaware
