ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lubbock, Texas.

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:00, including 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of L&D experience. The RN will provide care for patients during the labor and delivery process, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both the mother and newborn. This position does not require floating between units.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Conduct assessments of patients and review their medical history.
  • Manage high-risk deliveries and assist during cesarean sections.
  • Provide education and support to expectant mothers and their families.
  • Monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
  • ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and BLS certifications required.
  • Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
