Summaryย 

Join Aspenย Surgicalโ€™ sย Commercial Sales Team as an Account Manager in the Acute Sales segment of the business. With a comprehensive portfolio of industry-trusted surgical essentials and infection control products, Aspen Surgical helps support safety and efficiency in the operating room and beyond. In this role you will be the subject matter expert on Aspenโ€™s entire product portfolio that is used in hospitals and surgery centers. This is a full-line sales opportunity responsible for growing existing accounts and driving increased usage.ย ย 

In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunityย Toย 

  • Renew and expand business channels to grow Aspenโ€™s sales within current accounts in the United States.ย 
  • Identifyย opportunities to expand into new categories and drive increased usage of existing categories.ย Provideย portfolio options to customers, develop quotes, processย ordersย and follow-up to ensure complete Customer satisfaction.ย 
  • Ensure successful trials and implementation, conduct cross-referencing, and provide clinical support at assigned facilities.ย 
  • Assist/Lead all in-service activities as needed to secure product adoption within accounts across all of Aspen'sย portfolio.ย 
  • Manage stakeholders, train clinical team, ensure usage, drive customer satisfaction, and defend position (in-person and virtually)ย 
  • Support Account Executive in coordinating pursuits within geographyย 
  • Work with Account Executive on account strategy, implementation and expansion planning and other key account management activities.ย 
  • Provide technical information to staff consistent with product user manuals and instructions for use.ย 
  • Consistently use Salesforce.com to manage sales funnelย opportunityย development and at-risk business.ย 
  • Work withย marketingย team toย identifyย industry insights from whitepapers and case studies toย leverageย their selling efforts. Implement sales campaigns to accommodate goals specified by Aspen.ย 
  • Work withย Directorย of Strategic Accounts to support broader targeted strategic account strategy.ย 
  • Responsible for conducting cross-reference of products,ย pricingย andย service relatedย inquiries.ย 
  • Build and manage relationships with key decision makers.ย 
  • Represent the company at local,ย regionalย and national trade shows to promote products and services.ย 
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and contractual obligations for key customers.ย

What You Need to Succeed in This Positionย 

  • Bachelorโ€™sย degreeย required.ย 
  • 3+ years ofย accomplished business toย business sales experience.ย 
  • 2+ yearsโ€™ Operating Room sales experience preferred.ย 
  • Knowledgeable around market landscape with Surgical Instruments and/or Endoscopy.ย ย 
  • Experience in Medical Device products, both capital and disposable, for specific surgery procedures and settings.ย 
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and Salesforceย 
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License issued in one of the 50 states with no prior suspensions or revocationsย requiredย (must beย maintainedย during employment)ย 
  • Ability to travelย 80% of the time including overnights as neededย ย 
  • Ability to become fully credentialed to enter hospitals and surgery centers.ย 
  • Energetic, outgoing, and excited about joining a growing company and increasing market share.ย 
  • High levelย of proven business and financial acumen.ย
