What You'll Do
TheKey Account Manageris primarily responsible for growing wallet share and continuing to build customer lifetime value with key strategic accounts. In addition to growing share, another important focus of this role will be to drive demand generation through identifying areas of business development, selling downstream with channel partners, and delivering commercial insights that drive demand for Metrie products and services. The individual should both build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor with key influencers and decision makers to bring added value to our Channel Partners.

Key Relationships:The Key Account Manager will report to the Sales Manager.

Location: This role is remote and supports customers in southern Wisconsin & throughout the Chicagoland area to central Illinois. The ideal candidate will reside in Wisconsin or the Chicagoland area with customer travel up to 50% of the time.

As ourKey Account Managerwe need your in-depth knowledge of sales, our products and people and solid business acumen to:

  • Achieve financial and customer targets by driving sales and margin growth and improving the overall relationships with customer accounts.
  • Actively engage relevant stakeholders to generate interest in Metrie products/services, create demand, and help Channel Partners convert and service demand.
  • Create and execute strategies to increase the sustainable profitability and drive top and bottom-line growth of accounts.
  • Act as a brand advocate by managing the Metrie brand touch points to drive brand value and awareness; leveraging an insight-driven, customer-centric approach (i.e., Challenger Selling) to generate awareness and interest for Metrie products/services among targeted Channel Partners.
  • Contribute to the delivery of quarterly and annual sales results that meet or exceed the region targets.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience within the building products, interior finishing, construction, architect, interior design, or other related fields preferred

  • Experience in dealing with purchasing agents, senior buyers and small business owners

  • You are passionate about learning, growing your knowledge and skills and have strong analytical skills.

The base pay range for this role starts at $100,000 - $110,000/year. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
