Thermopac is seeking an entry-level IT Analyst / Programmer I / Support Technician to join our Information Technology team in Stone Mountain, Georgia. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or aspiring IT professional to gain hands-on experience in software development, business systems, data analytics, and technical support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist with developing and maintaining business applications, creating reports and dashboards, supporting databases, and providing day-to-day technical support for employees. This role is designed for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and working directly with users to support business operations.

Ideal Candidate: Someone with foundational technical knowledge, strong customer service skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn across programming, reporting, and end-user support.

Essential Responsibilities:Application Development & Business Analysis

Assist with developing and maintaining internal business applications.

Learn and apply programming skills using PHP, Python, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and related technologies.

Work with business users to understand requirements and document business processes.

Help troubleshooting and resolve application issues.

Participate in application testing, deployments, and upgrades.

Create and maintain technical and user documentation.

Reporting & Data Analysis

Assist with creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds. Position will frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
