Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst to provide onsite technical support and maintain critical manufacturing IT systems in a production environment. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for desktop support activities while also supporting infrastructure systems that enable manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows-based environments, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Desktop & End-User Support
  • Lead onsite IT desktop support activities for employees at the Chandler, AZ facility.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, network, and mobile device issues.
  • Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems and a variety of business applications.
  • Stage, configure, deploy, and support IT assets, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment and assets.
Infrastructure Support
  • Support manufacturing infrastructure environments consisting of:
    • VMware virtual machines
    • Windows servers and workstations
    • SAN storage systems
    • Backup and recovery platforms
  • Maintain and troubleshoot systems supporting:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Microsoft IIS
    • Rockwell FactoryTalk
    • Other manufacturing and operational technologies
Security & Compliance
  • Execute quarterly patch management cycles and periodic security updates.
  • Support security and compliance requirements within the process control computing environment.
  • Manage computer room operations, including:
    • UPS backup power systems
    • Environmental monitoring
    • Housekeeping standards
    • Audit and compliance readiness
  • Ensure timely completion of process audits and compliance-related activities.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to share technical knowledge, best practices, and support strategies.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of business operations and manufacturing processes.
  • Continuously improve technical skills and stay current with emerging technologies and changing business requirements.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and recommend effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support, infrastructure, or systems administration role within a business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & 11)
    • Microsoft SQL Server administration and troubleshooting
    • VMware virtualization technologies
    • Computer hardware and lifecycle management
  • Experience supporting networking, mobile devices, and enterprise software applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology (OT) environments.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell FactoryTalk and manufacturing control systems.
  • Experience supporting SQL Server, IIS, storage platforms, and backup solutions in a production environment.
