Job description

The Interior Designer is a trusted advisor to clients who works with them to identify their needs through project planning, space planning, small design projects, specifying furniture, paint, décor, and flooring.  You will also oversee staging homes to sell.  This consists of meeting with the homeowner and assessing the homes’ and choosing furniture & décor to stage with.  Finally, you will assist in the commercial design and blinds department when needed.  You will be given the opportunity to expand on your communication, project planning, and design skills by supporting the various functions of the Furniture Showroom Design Center.
Qualifications:
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • AutoCAD knowledge required.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and as a team player.
  • Displays ability to coordinate with all others, contributes to office knowledge and spirit in identifiable and demonstrated ways, conducts oneself in a professional manner always.
  • Displays the desire to advance skills, contribute positively to projects and takes ownership of tasks and assignments.
  • Continues to increase knowledge base to remain current in the industry; shows commitment to one’s own education and advancement by seeking and completing training and education.
