We are hiring a Senior SCADA Integrator to lead full-lifecycle project delivery across system design, PLC/HMI programming, field commissioning, and ongoing support in Austin TX.

Design and Engineering

  • Develop SCADA architecture, control panel designs, I/O lists, and control narratives for water/wastewater, industrial, and municipal systems
  • Specify hardware, software, and communications infrastructure; produce construction documents for permitting and construction

PLC and HMI Programming

  • Program Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) using Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000/500, and CCW
  • Develop HMI/SCADA applications in VTScada, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, or Ignition
  • Configure ladder logic, function block, and structured text; document all logic for client turnover

Integration and Communications

  • Configure Modbus, EtherNet/IP, DNP3, RS-232/485, HART, and OPC-UA protocols
  • Integrate PLCs, VFDs, soft starters, pump controllers, and field instrumentation into SCADA systems
  • Commission fiber, cellular, and radio networks for remote site connectivity (GE MDS Orbit, FreeWave ZoomLink, Ubiquiti)
  • Program VFDs and soft starters; perform termination verification and loop checks from terminal block to device

Field Commissioning and Support

  • Lead startup, commissioning, and acceptance testing; perform I/O checkout and systematic PLC logic debugging
  • Deliver ongoing technical support and maintenance services; serve as senior resource on maintenance contract engagements

Project Leadership

  • Own projects from proposal through closeout; coordinate with WGI engineers, EPC partners, and panel shop resources
  • Contribute to proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimation for controls work

Required

  • 7+ years of hands-on SCADA and industrial controls experience with full-project ownership
  • Allen-Bradley PLC programming proficiency (Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 / RSLogix 500 / CCW)
  • HMI development experience in VTScada, Wonderware, FactoryTalk, or Ignition
  • Working knowledge of industrial communications protocols and network configuration
  • Field troubleshooting skills: point-to-point wiring, electrical diagnostics, PLC logic debugging
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel to client sites throughout Texas and regionally
  • Ability to decipher and redline electrical schematics
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; tower climbing experience a plus (radio towers, elevated and ground storage tanks, standpipes)

Preferred

  • Water, wastewater, or oil and gas SCADA experience
  • Panel shop coordination experience; familiarity with UL508A and NEC
  • Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 programming standards
