Senior Software Integration Engineer
Carrollton, TX (100% Onsite When Not Traveling)
Contract-to-Hire | 6-Month Conversion Timeline

Join a Team Protecting Critical Infrastructure
We are seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to support the deployment and maintenance of advanced security solutions for critical infrastructure environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, working directly with customers, and owning projects from requirements gathering through deployment and commissioning.
You'll collaborate with experts across software integration, cybersecurity, hardware engineering, testing, documentation, and project management while supporting large-scale projects that typically span 18 months to 2 years, providing full lifecycle project involvement.
What You'll Do
  • Support the full project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
  • Configure and deploy software applications, databases, networking components, and integrated system solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL databases
  • Perform software builds and deployments using Visual Studio
  • Participate in software design reviews and technical documentation efforts
  • Conduct system integration, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and release management activities
  • Partner directly with customers to gather requirements and resolve technical issues
  • Support onsite installations, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing
  • Follow engineering best practices around requirements management, configuration management, and change control
  • Provide technical support during warranty periods as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in systems integration, software integration, or related engineering disciplines
    • Strong candidates with 5-6 years of highly relevant experience will also be considered
  • Experience supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and system architectures
  • Experience using Visual Studio for software builds and deployments
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot code for debugging purposes
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
  • Ability to work independently in dynamic project environments
  • U.S. Citizenship required
