Position Title: Sales Associate - Life

Position Reports To: Sales Director

Essential Job Function:  The Sales Associate assists with operational functions, supporting sales and marketing campaigns for the Simplicity Life Insurance Sales Department.  This person will work with advisors and their staff on client cases in conjunction with our dedicated wholesale team for case design consultation.  This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Respond to inbound calls regarding:

○      Case design & Illustrations

○      Product recommendation & Intelligence

○      Pre-sale application and underwriting support

Make Proactive outbound calls to:

○      Recruit Financial Advisors

○      Train financial advisors on product solutions and marketing programs

○      Grow the financial advisor’s practice

Meet call activity expectations and monthly team sales goals

Navigate insurance companies to ensure timely placement of cases utilizing problem solving skills

Understand and adhere to the Education, Value, & Partnership of Simplicity

Qualifications:

·       4-year degree preferred

·       Experience in Life Insurance Industry strongly preferred

Core Competencies:

·       Positive attitude, outgoing and people-oriented

·       Strong communication skills a must

·       Comfortable with cold-calling and prospecting

·       Proven ability to build relationships, especially those through phone calls

·       Effective listening skills

·       Must be collaborative team player

·       Comfortable with rejection

Compensation:

●      Base salary:  $40,000 - $45,000 based on experience

●      Variable Compensation
