The Commercial Loan Specialist supports Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Small Business, and Reverse Mortgage lending by performing a wide variety of maintenance to multiple systems. The Loan Servicing Specialist will manually establish all new Commercial, Construction, Small Business Loans and Lines of Credit on the FIS system, and use the nCino Sales Partner loan system to analyze legal documents and internal bank documents and create boarding data sheets and update data as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting up customer records, loan accounts, commitments and notes in the IBS loan core system, as well as maintain and enter collateral and Tickler remarks for future loan changes and calls.

  • Responsible for setting up SBA, HMDA, CRA and Construction Interest Reserves, and will set up and maintain participations, letters of credit, flood insurance, ACH and autopay loan features.

  • Process renewals and other system and coding changes as needed.

  • Assist with payment, advance postings, and file management duties including filing trailing documents, fulfilling file requests.

  • Cross train in other functions to assist when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of banking experience is required in lieu of a degree.

  • Previous banking experience is required.

  • Minimum of 2 years in loan accounting, investor reporting, commercial loan servicing and customer service experience is required.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger balancing and financial fundamentals is preferred.

  • 2 years of experience in a loan servicing environment is strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience with real estate loan documentation and syndications experience is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range:

$45,250.00 - $74,338.75

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.

In addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation (WSFS) and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
