Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile, experienced, and dependable Installer & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This dual-purpose role is perfect for a hands-on professional who can seamlessly transition between high-precision field installations and organized warehouse operations. You will be responsible for installing shower doors, mirrors, and bath accessories on-site, while also participating in shipping, receiving, and material distribution at the branch to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Field Installations
Precision Installations: Install frameless and framed shower doors, glass panels, shelving units, and $1/4''$ wall mirrors with precision and care.
Hardware Mounting: Install bath hardware and accessories such as towel bars, robe hooks, and grab bars according to builder plans and local building codes.
On-Site Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues during installations, offering practical, high-quality solutions.
Client Relations: Interact professionally with clients and builders on-site, maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful work environment.
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
Shipping & Receiving: Examine incoming shipment contents and compare them with manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. Route materials to the correct job sites.
Material Distribution: Issue and distribute materials, products, and supplies to installers or project managers based on incoming requisitions.
Inventory & Maintenance: Maintain and organize tools, warehouse materials, and work truck inventory. Utilize inventory management/ERP software to track stock.
Safety & Equipment: Inspect stock items for wear or defects. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and other equipment in strict adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant installation experience (shower doors, mirrors, bath accessories). Prior flooring industry experience is required.
Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with power tools, levels, hand tools, forklifts, and standard warehouse equipment.
Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift, handle, and maneuver heavy glass panels, flooring materials, and warehouse equipment.
