Job Title: Google Information Security Analyst
Type of Engagement: 4-week contract
Work Location: Onsite position in Cary, NC
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Google Workspace security consultant to conduct an independent assessment of our Google Workspace environment.
The objective of this engagement is to evaluate current security configurations, access controls, data governance practices, audit capabilities, and administrative processes, and to provide recommendations for improving security, visibility, governance, and operational oversight.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
The consultant will:
  • Assess the overall security posture of the Google Workspace environment.
  • Review Google Drive sharing and collaboration controls.
  • Evaluate audit, monitoring, and logging capabilities.
  • Validate existing security controls and governance practices.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide prioritized recommendations and a remediation roadmap.

Scope of Services:
Environment Assessment
  • Review Google Workspace administrative and security configurations.
  • Assess identity and access management controls.
  • Review Google Drive sharing and collaboration settings.
  • Evaluate governance, monitoring, and security controls.
Audit and Activity Review
  • Review available audit logs, activity records, and reporting capabilities.
