Overview:
Language Services Associates is looking for American Sign Language interpreters in the Newark, DE area. As a member of LSA's network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide superior customer service
โ€ข Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
โ€ข Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
โ€ข Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
โ€ข Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
โ€ข Access to personal or public transport
Qualifications/Experience:
โ€ข Associate or bachelor's degree
โ€ข RID certification
โ€ข State interpreting licensure (as applicable)
โ€ข Fluency in English and American Sign Language
