Job Description
Associate Director, Data Analytics Delivery & Operations, AbbVie Inc., Mettawa, IL [Onsite (onsite 5 days/per week)].
Key Responsibilities
  • This role involves architecting, designing, building, & supporting innovative data, analytics, & AI solutions for AbbVie's US Sales & Marketing functions.
  • It requires collaboration with stakeholders to align technology with business strategies, aiming to compliantly educate physicians on AbbVie's approved products for informed patient treatment decisions.
  • Additionally, the role entails taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, & driving future demand.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Must have a Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or foreign education equivalent, & 5 years of experience architecting, designing, building, & supporting technology solutions to meet business needs & expectations.
Of experience required, must have 5 years' experience in each of the following:
  1. delivering solutions in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing/ Data Lake & Analytics areas;
  2. performing in 2 or more of the following roles- Program/ Product Manager, Service Delivery/ Support Manager, Data/ Solution Architect, Analytics/ Reporting Architect;
  3. working in the pharmaceutical industry in 1 or more of the following business functions Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Quality;
  4. managing offshore/ onshore/ near shore resources providing architectural & technology guidance;
  5. developing reports & visualizations in 1 or more of the reporting tools: Discoverant, Tableau & QlikSense; &
  6. developing Big Data & Data Science solutions using each of the following tools: Hadoop, R, Dataiku, SAS, Cloudera toolsets, Snowflake, AWS eMR.

Of experience required, must have 3 years performing application development, testing, & deployment using Agile & DevOps methodologies & 1 year building Generative AI solutions utilizing large language models.
Work experience may be gained concurrently.
Additional Information
Salary Range: $215,550.94 - $261,000.00 per year.
