We offer a broad range of products through a diversified, multi-channel distribution network, including one of the world's most far-reaching property casualty networks.The Data Office supports the overall General Insurance product by managing Data, Data Governance, and the presentation of the data (Business Intelligence Delivery).

How you will create an impact:

AIG is looking for a driven individual to assume a critical role within the Data Office. This role will be responsible for working directly with leaders within Commercial Lines functional areas ensuring an understanding of data and analytics needs and priorities. In addition, this role will have Global Data Warehouse Product Ownership responsibilities ensuring execution is aligned to the highest business priorities and Data Office strategy and that sunset opportunities are being realized.

About the Role

The Data Analytics, Manager, Commercial Lines role sits within the Global Data Office at the intersection of business strategy, data, and analytics, working closely with Commercial Lines leaders to turn complex questions into actionable insights. As both a trusted business partner and product owner within the Global Data Warehouse, this role helps shape how AIG uses data to make better decisions, simplify its analytics landscape, and focus investment where it matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Commercial Lines leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities, and translate those needs into clear, outcomedriven data and analytics capabilities
  • Shape and maintain business documentation through data and analytics roadmaps that align business priorities with global Data Office strategy, enterprise standards, and architectural direction
  • Serve as product owner within the Global Data Warehouse program, setting direction, prioritizing work, authoring business requirements, overseeing user acceptance testing, and ensuring delivery remains focused on the highestvalue business outcomes
  • Enable strong execution by working with agile delivery teams to manage dependencies, clarify priorities, and ensure initiatives stay aligned to agreed scope and timelines
  • Continuously challenge the portfolio by identifying opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or sunset data and analytics solutions that no longer deliver sufficient value
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, helping define meaningful metrics, insights, and use cases that support better decisionmaking
  • Lead through influence, coordinating across data engineering, BI, analytics, and business teams to drive alignment and progress

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or datadriven roles, preferably within Commercial / P&C Insurance; Master's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior business stakeholders to drive data and analytics transformation efforts
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of P&C insurance metrics, financials, and operating models
  • Experience translating business outcomes into data, analytics, and reporting requirements
  • Working knowledge of data management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with programming and statistical tools, with the ability to engage credibly with technical teams
  • Proven ability to manage mediumtolarge initiatives and coordinate work across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills, with a structured and detailoriented approach
  • Comfort operating in an Agile environment and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Ability to lead effectively through influence rather than direct authority
  • Highly collaborative, motivated, and proactive mindset with strong communication skills

For positions based in New Jersey, the base salary range is $99,000 - $143,000. For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $105,000 - $148,000. For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $120,000 - $150,000. For positions based in Massachusetts, the base salary range is $122,000 - $150,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
