We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) to join our client’s team at Hudson. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, offshore BPO teams, and IT teams, ensuring effective communication, requirement gathering, solution delivery, and testing support across P&C insurance initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for P&C insurance processes and Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations/enhancements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client’s onshore team and offshore BPO/IT teams.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Leverage deep Guidewire PolicyCenter knowledge to support policy administration, workflow analysis, configuration discussions, and business process improvements.
• Participate in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); hands-on testing experience is essential.
• Assist in root cause analysis, defect triage, and issue resolution.
• Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and project documentation for stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and walkthroughs to ensure clarity and alignment across business and technical teams.


Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance domain, with recent relevant experience.
Strong hands-on experience and deep functional knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of policy-related processes and systems within P&C insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting workflows, policy lifecycle, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and policy servicing processes.
• Experience working with offshore delivery models and cross-functional global teams.
• Hands-on experience in system testing and UAT, including test case creation, execution, and result validation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and requirement elicitation skills.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and related business analysis tools.


Preferred Skills

• Experience with Guidewire ecosystem applications and integrations.
• Experience with policy administration systems and claims platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business, operations, and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Certifications

• Guidewire Certified Associate or Specialist – PolicyCenter.
• Guidewire Business Analyst Certification (if available).
• Associate in General Insurance (AINS) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
