Accounting Accounting Specialist- GL & Payroll

Our Accounting Specialist Schedule:

Monday through Friday, flexible - between normal business hours 

POSITION SUMMARY

Ensures accurate accounting records for the general ledger, payroll and accounts payable.

Expectation:

  1. High school diploma or equivalency and an Associate or Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
  2. Two years of accounting work experience preferred; payroll experience preferred
  3. Familiarity with accounting terminology; basic computer skills;
  4. Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals and percentages;
  5. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
  6. Ability to solve problems and make adjustments regarding processes; capable of dealing with deadline pressures;
  7. Integrity regarding confidential and proprietary information
