Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our growing team supporting a federal government client. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions that drive mission success and solve complex operational challenges.

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you'll leverage your deep platform expertise to architect and develop innovative solutions while mentoring team members, collaborating with stakeholders, and influencing technical direction. You'll join a dynamic, high-performing team that values innovation, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions and platform enhancements.
  • Lead the integration of ServiceNow modules, APIs, workflows, and user-facing applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and client stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and peer reviews throughout Agile development sprints.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution efforts for production issues and technical incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate Operations & Maintenance (O&M) defects while driving continuous platform improvements.
  • Design and develop custom-scoped applications using ServiceNow best practices and modern development frameworks.
  • Ensure successful deployment, performance, security, and long-term sustainability of ServiceNow applications.
  • Contribute to solution architecture decisions and the adoption of emerging ServiceNow capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, React, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
  • Experience developing custom-scoped applications utilizing ServiceNow ITSM and Now Create methodologies and toolsets.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience working within Agile development teams.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL concepts.
  • Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also possess one or more of the following:

  • Current or previous Federal Public Trust suitability determination.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
