Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Plainfield Distribution Center HR function through a variety of systems and processes. The Coordinator ensures accuracy of data within HR reporting systems, supports HRBP procedures through the teammate employment lifecycle, and leads administrative support within the Generalist function.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Daily review of Workday Time & Attendance, ensuring payroll, attendance, schedules, and organizational data accuracy.
  • Process unemployment claims and coordinate responses in partnership with Operations and Legal as needed.
  • Co-facilitate New Hire Orientation and support onboarding initiatives to enhance the teammate experience.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, identify themes, and provide recommendations to improve retention and engagement.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for HR inquiries, gathering relevant information and escalating teammate relations concerns to the Sr. HRBP as appropriate.
  • Prepare, audit, and analyze HR reports and metrics, ensuring data accuracy and identifying trends requiring follow up or escalation.
  • Partner with Operations leaders to provide workforce analytics, ad hoc reporting, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Respond to internal and external HR inquiries, exercising sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Maintain HR records and documentation in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and record retention standards.
  • Partner with centralized recruiting and Operations leaders to communicate staffing needs and support hiring initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource to teammates and leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and teammate programs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources administration in a distribution, manufacturing, retail, or high-volume operational environment
