Summary

Join us for a hiring event at our brand-new Lawrenceville, GA facility on Wednesday, August 5th!

If you are an experienced Warehouse Associate with Stand-Up Forklift Certification, with a clean and valid drivers' license, we'd love to meet you and discuss exciting opportunities with our team.

Requirements:

  • Prior warehouse experience is required.
  • Stand-Up Forklift Certification or experience is strongly desirable.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Available Shifts:

  • Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Tuesday – Saturday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Essential Functions

  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing all incoming material arriving to our facility from vendors, shipping companies and couriers.
  • Examine incoming shipments to verify the quantity and condition of materials received. Return or reject damaged items. Check merchandise against the packing list description and appropriately report /record any discrepancies.
  • Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in a safe and orderly manner following all safety protocols.
  • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
  • Pack and arrange materials from job pull lists for all daily jobs.
  • Sort and manage metal recycling program
  • Reclaim refrigerant from HVAC systems following all safety protocols.
  • Ensure warehouse and parking lot is maintained on a regular basis {trash pick- up and removal, sweeping, dusting, and organizing materials on the shelves}
  • Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area.
  • Accurately identify and count stock materials for lists or inventories.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with precision and care.
  • Deliver parts and materials to customers in a timely manner, following established routes and schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating company vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of applicable experience in a warehouse setting is required.
  • Forklift certification (stand up) is desired.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability maintain coverage under our company’s auto insurance policy. Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing (training will be provided.)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a rotating basis to service the needs of our technical crews and customers.
  • Physical Strength: Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, reaching (including overhead), climbing ladders/stairs and lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Environment: Working both outdoors in all weather and indoors in varying temperatures including non-climate-controlled areas occasionally with extreme temperatures.
  • Visual Abilities: Must be able to read handwriting, type or printed text and correctly differentiate between colors.
  • Hearing Abilities: Must be able to clearly hear voices and machinery operating in the work area.
  • Other: Must be proficient in the use of smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
  • Ability to adhere to safety best practices
