As a Counterparty Credit Risk Senior Associate in the risk management and Compliance team, you will support traded products risk analysis across diverse client portfolios. You partner with Sales, Trading, Credit Officers, Quantitative Research, Technology, and Operations to monitor counterparty exposures, size limits, and strengthen exposure methodologies and tooling. You help us translate complex risk signals into clear risk appetite views, credible challenge, and timely reporting. You contribute to firmwide initiatives and workflow improvements that enhance transparency, controls, and efficiency.
Job responsibilities:
  • Support traded products counterparty risk analysis in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Credit Officers across client portfolios
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing workload and collaborating to deliver team outcomes
  • Perform deep dives on counterparty exposure and risk topics and provide guidance to Credit Officers on methodology changes and model limitations
  • Contribute to exposure methodology and policy updates by partnering with risk stakeholders
  • Manage and contribute to firmwide initiatives that enhance key counterparty exposure metrics and technical capabilities
  • Identify, analyze, monitor, and report inherent risks within counterparty exposures with strong ownership and follow-through
  • Form risk appetite views and provide credible challenge to business stakeholders' risk-related questions
  • Partner with front office, credit risk, and operations teams to evaluate limit sizing and risk appetite for new and existing clients
  • Drive adoption of artificial intelligence-enabled approaches that improve team workflows and processes
  • Partner with quantitative research and technology teams to continuously improve exposure methodologies and tools

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 3 plus years of experience in risk management, quantitative finance, financial engineering, financial mathematics, or data analytics
  • Working knowledge of over-the-counter derivatives across multiple asset classes
  • Basic to moderate experience with coding and data platforms and languages such as Python, Tableau, or Alteryx
  • Strong execution skills demonstrated through constructive listening, collaboration, and delivering to objectives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with effective use of artificial intelligence prompts and training approaches
  • Strong organizational, control, project management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance

  • Strong accountability and ownership with a self-motivated, diligent work style
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to challenge the status quo and improve efficiency
  • Ability to make and defend risk judgments with clear rationale

  • Chartered Financial Analyst or Financial Risk Manager certification
