Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Hill is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-time Recreation Assistant to join our wonderful nursing team. As a Recreation Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by planning and implementing recreational programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute recreational activities, including but not limited to arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities
• Adapt programs to meet the changing needs and abilities of our residents
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive community
• Collaborate with other departments to provide holistic care to our residents
• Maintain accurate records and reports of recreational activities and resident participation
