Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) and a strong functional understanding of supply chain, inventory management, sales order processing, and financial operations. This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring optimal configuration and implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central to support business processes and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and enhancements.
  • Configure and customize Business Central modules to align with client business processes, including Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
  • Provide expert guidance on supply chain optimization, inventory management, and sales order processing workflows within D365 Business Central.
  • Support financial management functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with accounting best practices.
  • Conduct gap analyses between business needs and system functionality; recommend and implement efficient solutions.
  • Lead functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support deployment activities.
  • Deliver end-user training and documentation to ensure smooth system adoption.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to design and implement integrations, extensions, and reports.
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV).
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, with the ability to configure financial modules within D365 BC.
  • Proven experience with supply chain management, inventory control, procurement, sales order processing, and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and functional designs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in cloud-based ERP environments (preferably Dynamics 365 SaaS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for reporting and data management.

Preferred Qualifications
