Full Stack Developer Description & Duties:
The Full Stack Developer is a highly skilled individual proficient in various areas of focus, including Front-End, Middleware, and Back-End development. Responsible for designing and developing front-end web architectures driven by middleware to retrieve information from back-end sources.
This role will excel in our evolving technology stack, which currently includes JavaScript, GraphQL, Jest, Kafka, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, Redis, SQL, and TypeScript, and demonstrate proficient skills in test-driven development, RESTful APIs, collaboration, communication, security best practices, and performance optimization.
Pay Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities included the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Design and develop front-end web architectures driven by middleware to retrieve information from back-end sources.
  • Develop software in our technology stack, which is constantly evolving but currently includes JavaScript, GraphQL, Jest, Kafka, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, Redis, SQL, and TypeScript.
  • Complete test-driven development and write unit tests.
  • Maintain working knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain knowledge of security best practices in web development to safeguard customer and company data.
  • Design performance optimized and scalable web applications.
  • Utilize agile methodologies and scrum planning tools like Jira to help the development team meet its sprint goal.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in front end, middleware, or backend development, OR combination of education and experience.
  • Any technical certifications from Amazon, Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, or in an essential duty mentioned above are a plus.
