Software Development Engineering - Advisor I
About your role:
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our engineering team at Fiserv. You'll collaborate with Technical leaders, product managers, clients at leading financial institutions, and cross-functional engineering teams to design and deliver client facing Web applications, resilient, high-volume API, microservices, integrations from UI, in cloud infrastructure. Your work will help shape solution architecture and drive reliable, performant production systems.
What you'll do
  • Define and implement solution architecture for Modern, Robust Client facing Web applications.
  • Design, develop, deploy Web application using Typescript, React, Node.js 22, Tailwind CSS, pnpm, Nginx, Docker
  • Effective usage of AI for Software Engineering - Design/Coding/Code review/Debugging
  • Hands-on working experience in Azure, AFD, Apache, Reverse proxy configurations and Containerization
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum delivery model with product managers, clients and engineering teams.
  • Contribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to enable repeatable, secure deployments.
  • Apply design patterns and algorithmic approaches to improve reliability, maintainability, readability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and operate within complex IT environments, including networking, security and performance considerations.
  • Cloud migration and platforms experience (Azure, PCF, OpenShift, AWS).
  • Experience with Splunk and SIEM tools

Experience you'll need to have
  • 8+ years recent experience in building Web applications using Typescript, React and Node.js, Tailwind CSS
  • 3+ years of experience with hands-on AI integration for Embedded UI coding and standardization
  • 5+ years hands-on experience integrating front end with RESTful APIs (JSON over HTTPS) built with Java and Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot).
  • 4+ years hands-on experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object-oriented code.
  • Advanced understanding of design patterns, software algorithms and coding techniques that improve testability and maintainability.
  • Experience with building web applications using Nginx and Docker
  • High proficiency with modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

How you'll work
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Travel
  • Approximately 10% of travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Salary Range
$90,000.00 - $158,400.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
